How can you help?
We’ve partnered with East African Playgrounds to give children their childhoods back through play, connect customers to the wider world and strengthen the community of independent businesses across the UK. We’re working to raise £5,000 – enough to fund the implementation of a playground and play-based education training for a community in Uganda, benefiting over 1,500 children over the next 15 years.
Any donation made go straight to East African Playgrounds, helping to build playgrounds in refugee settlements, schools and local communities across Uganda. To donate, text EAPL47 £5 to 70070 or follow this link.
So far, we’ve raised over £25
This is enough to fund a herd of safari animals made from recycled tires in a Ugandan playground, engaging children’s imagination and aspirations surrounding tourism, nature and the wider world. We’re proud to make a difference to schools like St. Patrick’s, Jinja, pictured below:
