LoyalFree is delighted to announce the launch of their give as you save charity initiative in partnership with Dorking Town Partnership and Dorking Minds. So far the LoyalFree give as you save initiative has led to donations of over £1,000 to worthy causes.

LoyalFree is a multi award winning place promotion app with exclusive deals, interactive trails and fun event listings. App users can also use the app to collect loyalty stamps from their phone. From July 1st, LoyalFree will be donating 1p to Dorking Minds every time a loyalty stamp is collected around any of the 23 towns and cities currently using the app. Users of LoyalFree don’t need to do anything differently – they can keep using the app as normal!

The LoyalFree app first launched in Dorking back in 2018 and has amassed over 3,000 app users in the town – over 10% of the town’s population! Charlotte Whitaker, Dorking Town Partnership BID Manager said: ‘‘We are delighted that LoyalFree have chosen to support a Dorking based charity. I would encourage everyone in Dorking to download the LoyalFree app; not only can you benefit from great savings, but you can make a real difference to people’s lives too!’’

Dorking Minds is a wonderful charity that aims to help people in the Dorking area take control of their community’s mental health by providing subsidised courses and support including a new suicide prevention training. The charitable organisation focuses on training and advocacy and every penny raised will support delivery of services in the Dorking area. Sally Elias, one of the founding members of Dorking Minds, added: ‘‘This is such great news for Dorking Minds and we are proud to work with Dorking Town Partnership and LoyalFree as part of the resurrection process for Dorking’s High Street. I would encourage everyone to download the LoyalFree app and start stamping!’’

LoyalFree is delighted to be able to support mental health charities in their important work. Sophie Hainsworth, co-founder of LoyalFree recently spoke about her own experiences with mental health in her Tedx Talk called ‘Living Without Answers’. She said, ‘‘this is a cause very close to me and I’m delighted to be able to use our technology platform in positive ways such as this.’’

Businesses running loyalty schemes through the LoyalFree app are encouraged to promote these further with an extra incentive for customers to swap from paper loyalty cards to a digital version. App users can currently collect stamps at many Dorking businesses including: Dorking Halls Cafe, Westcott & Williams, Renee’s Health Food Shop Ltd, Rialto Lounge and The Lemon Tree.

LoyalFree will continue to donate to Dorking Minds until October 2020, before moving the campaign to support another charity.
