Shoppers encouraged to ‘keep it local’ this Christmas
Shoppers across the UK are being encouraged to ‘keep it local’ this Christmas with the help of innovative loyalty app ‘LoyalFree’ which is used to find local deals and loyalty schemes straight from your smartphone. A compelling incentive, app users can save money when they choose to shop local.
LoyalFree is an innovative digital loyalty scheme and dynamic new venture designed to boost high street footfall. Promoting towns and cities since June 2017, the LoyalFree app now showcases over 800 UK businesses and 12 areas, set to increase to over 30 areas in 2019.
The app showcases local businesses with profiles which display offers, loyalty schemes, reviews, a live instagram feed, opening times and more. A location based ‘local guide’ also enables app users to enjoy information on key attractions, events and parking in the area. Users can benefit from using just one app as they move around the UK.

We are on a mission to use technology to help boost the high street experience and encourage supporting local businesses. We can achieve this by combining online and offline in a way which enables customers to use technology for good and find shopping locally a seamless experience.
LoyalFree is a self-funded project which has been fully developed by Co-Founders Sophie Hainsworth and Jason Nesbitt, of Leicestershire, and has experienced huge successes over the last 18 months when it was launched from a coffee shop. Since then the app has gone live in over 10 towns and cities, hitting the front page of the newspapers and helping over 800 businesses improve their digital presence.
This Christmas LoyalFree are also showcasing businesses across the UK through a ’12 Days of Festive Dining’ competition on Facebook with 13 dining experiences up for grabs.
