Building a LoyalBase and Creating Personalised Offers: Bom Bom Patisserie

Businesses on the LoyalFree app have the ability to send personalised offers to people in their LoyalBase. This is a powerful marketing tool that encourages customers to return more often; increasing store revenue. Personalised offers can be created through the LoyalFree dashboard. Members of a LoyalBase will then be informed of the offer by email and push notification.

A Ferociously Fun Summer – LoyalFree Dino Trail

LoyalFree designed their pre-packaged interactive Dino Trail to create a free, family-friendly experience for high street visitors all over the UK during the school summer holidays. The trail aimed to increase footfall, dwell time and local spend in participating towns and cities whilst also offering a fun and educational activity for families.

Harrogate Lego Trail 2022

Following the success of the 2021 installations, Harrogate brought back the Lego Trail for 2022. This year was bigger and better with 15 Alice in Wonderland themed, life sized Lego models, located around Harrogate Town Centre. The models were built by Yorkshire charity, Fairybricks, whose team of six builders took six months and used more than 514,000 Lego bricks to create the masterpieces. The Trail took place during the summer holidays, creating a fun and free experience for locals and visitors.

A Royal Weekend of Fun with LoyalFree

As the world watched, her Majesty The Queen became the first British monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee. The Jubilee marked her seventy years of service and the United Kingdom was blessed with an extended bank holiday. This, alongside the school half-term, provided the perfect opportunity for towns and cities to come together and celebrate this momentous historical event on the high street. 

From royal window displays to corgi hunts, people were invited to download the LoyalFree app and join in the celebrations in Hereford, Loughborough, Welwyn Garden City and Brighouse during the Jubilee weekend. 

Hemel Hempstead owl trail attracts families into town with help of high street app

The Big Hoot Hemel Hempstead was a free, fun, family-friendly art trail produced by Wild In Art, in partnership with Dacorum Borough Council and Hemel Hempstead Business Improvement District. This exciting trail saw 12 individually designed Big Hoot owls placed around Hemel Hempstead town centre, Hemel Old Town, Gadebridge Park and the Watergardens for everyone to see and enjoy. Each Owl was designed by a professional artist and had a story to tell.

Digital Loyalty Spotlight: Bom Bom Patisserie

Bom Bom Patisserie joined the LoyalFree app when it was launched, back in 2017. They were approached by LoyalFree founders Jason and Sophie and were invited to be a tester for their new app. They have stayed loyal to the app ever since and now hold the LoyalFree record for most stamps redeemed with a very impressive 12,273 redemptions at their Derwent Drive location and 4,303 redemptions at their second location, Bom Bom Canal House! Bom Bom generously offers customers their 7th hot drink free when 6 stamps are collected on the app.

Digital Loyalty Spotlight: Leicester Coffee House Company

Leicester Coffee House Company joined the LoyalFree app in 2019, initially introduced by our partners, BID Leicester as a free, environmentally friendly marketing tool for levy payers. The digital loyalty card has been a huge success for them, offering loyal customers their 9th hot drink free when 8 stamps are collected on the app. So far, they have had an incredible 3,202 redemptions, which is increasing by the day! As well as the deals section of the app, you will find them appearing on local trails such as the Leicester Coffee Trail and Dog Friendly Leicester.

Bradford BID -Brick sculptures of endangered animals attract families to Bradford city centre

Animal Paradise by BRICKLIVE is a brick-tastic collection of unique models, with the mission of educating children on the theme of endangered animal species. It provides a fun and friendly learning environment and the perfect day out for the whole family. The collection of sculptures was positioned across Bradford City Centre from 5 – 13 March 2022.

BID Leicester – Light Up Leicester 2022

From the 3rd-6th March, Leicester City Centre transformed into a mesmerising festival of light featuring 9 fantastic installations! The family-friendly interactive trail showcased a collaboration of music, light and art. Each installation had its own story, creating a unique and exciting experience at every location.

Welwyn Garden City Christmas Lights Trail 2021

Families were mesmerized by the light installations in WGC over the Christmas period. Welwyn Garden City BID used the LoyalFree app to create a family-friendly, interactive experience to be enjoyed by all. Back by high demand for the second year running, the light displays have been incredibly popular with the public. Visitors took to social media to tag themselves in selfies posed with the lights in various locations, using the hashtag #WGCXmas2021.

Harrogate BID – Lego Trail 

A series of Harrogate landmarks, replicated in Lego bricks, starred in a new town centre trail for families to follow in summer 2021. Harrogate Business Improvement District (BID) and LoyalFree worked together to create a fun and family-friendly experience that could easily be followed by locals and visitors. 


Discover Lanark BID – High street app attracts thousands of visitors to Lanark

Members of the public had a roar-some time exploring Lanark this summer through the LoyalFree app. Discover Lanark invited intrepid hunters to track down 20 giant dinosaurs with their family-friendly, Jurassic Lanark Trail. LoyalFree and Discover Lanark began working together in June 2020 and currently 4,300 people use the app in Lanark and 128 businesses from the BID are promoted on the app. After this trial ended, locals could continue to use the LoyalFree app in Lanark, funded by Discover Lanark, to find exclusive deals and digital loyalty schemes, event listings, fun trails and tourism information.


Discover Ilkley BID – High street app brings Easter fun to Ilkley through an interactive trail

The public were delighted to discover egg-xciting Easter egg hunts across the country with a series of fun digital trails on the LoyalFree app as businesses started reopening after lockdown restrictions were lifted.
